Located in North East Tarrant County, Southlake is home of the Carroll Dragons, the Southlake Stampede and was named in 2006 by D Magazine as the best Dallas/Fort Worth suburb.

Southlake is a great place to live. It was the first permant settlement in Tarrant County. It was incorpated in 1866. Most of the town in located in Tarrant County but some lies in Denton County, It is just minutes away from the DFW International Airport. It has a wonderful climate with summers in the 90's and not going below 40 in the winter. Southlake school system has had exemplery status for 7 years and has a 0% drop out rate. The town square is a lovely shopping area. Also it is a great place to play sports and is a golf lovers heaven. It has many high class courses. Southlake would be a great place to live and raise a family.
